We must unite to stop our home turf being sold out to developers.

Please please please. Understand that this rapid growth is not good for our community spirit.. this area at looking glass should remain undeveloped and remain in all its natural surrounding. Please protect our water in the future by not allowing new developments to plant grass.. xeriscape instead.... my heart aches for the community of Moab.. born and raised here I moved back in 2005. Please please reconsider the spirits you are crushing by not listening to us. You will destroy our feeling of community if you do not... and that to me is part of makes this place so special.

As a homeowner in Moab I am appalled by the quiet granting of this lease in spite of the dramatic impact on such a unique and beautiful area. If this is the best you can do with education trust lands then do NOTHING!!

For one thing, We don’t have water resources to support this project. Secondly, we need to stop the expansion of tourism. Enough is enough!

Under Canvas is attempting to build a project on the White Salmon National Scenic River near Husum, Washington, in the Columbia Gorge.
A SEPA appeal is before a hearings examiner on June 17 starting at 9:00 a.m. , followed by a CUP hearing the next day. All public. If you want to listen in, email me for instructions.

We all enjoy beautiful Moab and the surrounding desert in our own ways. There must be limitations on all activities to ensure and protect the beauty of the area. If not, we will lose what we love.

Don’t ruin our public lands. They have been there for centuries! No need for this development. Let people hike and admire as they have forever!!

This sacrificing our land has become common practic for monetary gain, is extremely short sighted.
As whole we will all suffer from short sighted gains based upon greed.
