This is so gross, and it will not only ruin a scenic area but it will reduce the desirability of looking glass to all other visitors and potentially end up affecting other local businesses, even those that aren't in direct competition, SOOOO gross.

I cant believe you would allow such an eye sore to ruin such a prestine desert gem. Please don't allow them to build their ugly clamping city so close to such a beautiful piece of public land. This will ruin a unique place for future generations of visitors

Public land shouldn't be lease-able as a resort. This is absolutely ridiculous

Keep corporations out of nature. This view should be enjoyed by all in the purest form of camping, not just those who can afford “glamping”.

It would be extremely immoral and wrong to Indigenous communities to sell and use stolen public lands for profit. Leave the natural land to nature and allow people to enjoy it for what it is. There is money to be made in ecotourism, a lot more than resorts and destruction of the land. And ecotourism gives everyone the opportunity to learn the importance of these natural places so that we can all strive to protect it. Consider that instead of building a resort that nobody is going to want to visit anyway because we will all be angry that you are profiting off of the destruction of natural habitats and stolen land.

When does it end? When every beautiful place around our home has been pillaged so another developer can make another dollar?

Taking away the peace and quiet and open landscape of this beautiful piece of public land that many people of all income levels enjoy, and turning it into a commodified, developed destination for the touring rich is a moral abomination. As one who has periodically visited and enjoyed this area since 2010 with all sorts of amazing locals, I am shocked and offended that the owners of "Moab Under Canvas" have had the lust for money so deeply corrode their common sense and moral decency that me singing this petition is even necessary. The days of free wheeling pimping out of "Moab" are over. We are fed up, and awake now, and you will be resisted. We will drive all your customers away and make them hate you. You will be embarrassed to have ever been associated with this, if you insist on proceeding with it.

it is a local attratction that moab locals and visitors alike enjoy. the sale of looking glass would only contribute to the corporatization of moab. just think about how many people talk about the glory days of moab and how its been ruined by big businesses and over-accomodation of tourism
