The landscape that surrounds Looking Glass Rock is integral to the life enriching experience of viewing and exploring the formation and surrounding desert. Development of adjacent state land would represent a tragic public taking, when considering future experiences lost.

Please don’t create this “glamping” paradise. Save our lands, they are meant to be enjoyed by all, not just those with money.

Stop allowing capitalism to ruin beautiful land! Rich people don’t need another place to “glamp”- the world needs as many ecosystems as possible!

Keep this place wild. I climes it this year and was the only person out there for about 4hrs. It was a magical experience that needs to be allowed to be passed down to our future. Keep nature wild!!!!

This agreement is disgraceful. The use would be a waste of public lands, the money would not be going to maintain the land, just into the pockets of corporate stooges.

Keep southern Utah wild! Private companies should not be permitted to profit off of public lands and turn these landscapes into private playgrounds for the elite. Furthermore, I doubt SITLA gave any consideration to Indigenous perspectives while reviewing Under Canvas' application.
