This is in hopes to get a bill introduced to pass a law that would require all eat-in establishments to have someone on duty, at all times, that knows The Heimlich & CPR. I know it needs a lot of tweeks, but it's a start. I lost my boyfriend in July, 2006 because he choked to death in a restaurant, & no one could help him. There is also a Facebook Page..."Lonnie's Law" that, just by joining, will show your support. NO STRINGS ATTACHED!! Thank You!!
I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have joined this effort to keep others safe. We are nearing a milestone that will really help show the need for this change. Please consider sending the link to a few people today so we can prove how many of us care about this.

I knew Lonnie because he dated my cousin in the early 1980's. I had several phone conversations and meetings with him myself. He was sweet and funny and our conversations always flowed, we talked for hours. He was very intelligent. I was shocked to hear what happened to him. I am so sorry and I hope that he will save lives with this.

RIDICULOUS that this isnt already standard practice everywhere. My thoughts are with you.
