Too many fatal traffic collisions go unanswered for in the State of SC. We seek to change the laws so that a charge is filed in every fatality case.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to amend the Code of Law section 16-3-60by adding to the definition of Involuntary Manslaughter to include fatal traffic collisions and to make mandatory that the “at fault” driver of any fatal traffic collision be immediately charged with not less than Involuntary Manslaughter.

About time we hold people accountable for reckless driving. Sick of seeing these tragedies go nowhere in court.

Too many people getting off free after killing others on the road. Fix the code. Make it mandatory.
Driving is a responsibility. If you mess up and take someone away from their family you better face the consequences.

This family deserves justice. It is heartbreaking that someone can end a life on the road and just walk away like nothing happened.
