My teacher even locks his door after lunch so if I can't make it back in time I'm screwed.

As a former student. Most likely going to be a present student I agree with this petition to extend school lunch. With a school over 1000 students. 20-30 minutes is not adequate time to each and every student to obtain their food and be able to enjoy it with out having to speed eat and potientally vomit it up because they are pushed for time. I believe that the school isn’t actually caring what this actually does to other students as some do go hungry because the lines are to long and the time is to short

People speed to get to class on time because they don't want to be late because they don't have enough time to leave the school and get food. When I was a freshman lunch was an hour and it was the perfect amount of time

Please make this happen! Many of the students prefer getting unhealthy chips and energy drinks , rather than standing in line waiting to get the lunch needed for enough energy to get through the rest of the day. 30 minutes is barely enough time to go to your locker, wait in line forever while people cut, get the food you need and then socializing. It's essential for ANY person to interact with other people in order to maintain a healthy social life and we barely have time to do that now.

We can't get anything done in the 30 minute lunch we have. No time for the lunch lines which is still stacked with kids at the end of lunch
