20 min is not enough time to walk to cafeteria, stand in line to get food, eat and get back to class. Some kids probably have to skip eating altogether.

Brunswick County schools always say “no child left behind”.. but if they’re not allowing a child to eat, that is a child left behind.

My son is 6 and has 30 minutes, it’s not prison. Lunch should be at least an hour long for children

My daughter never eats because she says by the time she gets through the line there is NO time to eat it. This needs to change.

It really is not enough time from elementary to high school we use to have recess...this is a break from... everything during the school day

Students cannot even get through the lunch line before the bell rings. I would like to see administration take 20 minute lunches. That’s 20 minutes to get from your office to the lounge eat and get back to your office. During the rest of your work day do not socialize with anyone and no bathroom breaks. Just sit quietly at your desk.
