It is simply WRONG not to renew the lease after 34 years, A new lease should be automatic. This is where we get lunch, NOT Union Square. If the rent gets raised astronomically, the cost of our food goes through the roof. Again, this is WRONG!
The Greed of san francisco is so sad. This place offers food and love to many loyal customers. My heart is broken! I will miss coming here for breakfast and lunch and talking sports with one of the owners Shadi. Going to miss you guys so much. Its just so sad.
This is my daily go-to place for coffee and a bagel. It is the best bagel in town and the sweetest people who run this place. It literally puts a smile on my face every morning. It's both the new and OLD that keep a city vibrant. Please reconsider!
I patronize Deli &... once a week and appreciate that there is a non-chain, non-boutique option for good food and service. Given that Deli &... is next to a fancy café, starbucks, and high end salad place, I imagine the future tenant will be similar. I will not patronize such a tenant.
Ridiculous that this is happening. This deli is an institution for downtown/financial SF, loved and visited by thousands of people a week. I will personally boycott/advocate my friends to boycott anything else that goes in this space.

Renew the lease: these are great people with loyal customers. This block does not need another option for $15 artisanal iSalads, and you do not need whatever marginal profit you'd gain from evicting them. Vanbarton Group, we see you!
