Boat racing is a sport that is enjoyed by so many in California, thrilling to watch just as car racing is which takes place in your City too! Both can be dangerous, but, being a huge fan and knowing owners personally they take much time, money and such a team effort to share their efforts with not just themselves but with us it would be a shame to not allow it and not fair as car races have already taken place this year. A lot of us can’t travel to the other places where they race,so, it is my request for the many fans that you continue to allow boat racing in Long Beach. Thank you for your time.

The race has a long history. I knew Both drivers that died in the accidents, and one was personal friend of mine. They would both roll over in their grave if they knew the race was cancelled due to their accident. Save the history.
