Was brought to Long Beach Marine Stadium in 1973 when I was only 11 years old. It was a family affair and still is to this day. Dad raced numerous classes throughout those years.

I ask you please keep the boat races. It is something special that Long Beach has. It also brings business to the local businesses. We have lost so many places in the South Bay. Ascot is gone, Lyon's Drag strip is gone. Please keep some type of boat racing in the South Bay. Long Beach is a beautiful City and people really enjoy coming there to watch the boat races. Thank you for your time.

The boat races have been a part of Long Beach for over 100 years. I live one block from the Marine Stadium and strongly support the boat races in my backyard. The Bixby Land Company deeded the City of Long Beach the Marine Stadium to be used for such events. One weekend a year, do not shut the races down.

The boat races at marine stadium should continue on for years to come. This is the only boat race event in the city, it would be a shame if it stopped.

Marine Stadium was there before all the expensive houses. They new what they were getting into when they bought the houses.
