Boat racing has been a tradition for many yrs. Not allowing this to happen is along the lines of the woke movement and cancel culture B's that is infecting this country and causing great harm to our freedoms and abilities.

Racing in the long beach community is a long tradition. It is a good family atmosphere. Southern California is the birth place of hot rods and racing.

My Dad took us to almost all of the boat races at Marine Stadium when I was a kid. Those were some wonderful memories with my Dad. Those times instilled a deep love for boat racing that's still alive in my family to this day.
Currently, I belong to the Safety Rescue team at Columbia Drag Boat racing in Oregon. Now I'm making boat racing memories with my family at the boat races. Marine Stadium is a good thing and it needs to continue for wholesome family fun and memories.

this is not a new venue, it draws people from all over the country, they also bring money with to spend which is revenue for the city. please allow this to keep going for decades to come
