Please keep this area from being developed. The high country is a beautiful place for all and plenty of other land exists for development.

The best use of this land is to preserve it for future generations.

We need this land and we need conservation groups to protect it for all Americans, as DuPont State Forest was saved for future generation’s greater good.

The beauty of this area is that it is underdeveloped and mostly wilderness and one of the few areas on the east coast that is remote and wild. To develop this area is to steal its beauty and impede further on nature. Sometimes you have to forgo making money and wealth to preserve the planet. Develop more in Asheville; leave the Linville Area alone.

We need to protect as many of these natural environments as we can. This area is a staple for the outdoor recreation community of North Carolina and we want to keep it wild do it will remain that way.

We need this land to remain as it is for future hikers to see the land as we see it today to capture the essence of the wilderness experience.
