There are plenty of places to build far outside a wilderness area. Responsible development takes into account current and future use of the land.

This eye sore would impact the gorge hikers and climbers in a really negative way-keep the Gorge Wild a place to admire and treasure for generations to come!

The preservation of North Carolina’s natural resources - the very things that make people want to live in and visit our state - is of utmost importance.

It is important that we continue to have access across this land in order to be able to appreciate many parts of Linville gorge!

The Linville Gorge is a pristine place and my favorite place to play. I support any measure that will preserve it's rugged and wild beauty for generations to come.

Please add protected lands. Every time I drive past another trashy commercial strip or another plot of farmland turned over to McMansions, I hope for the preservation of our public lands and the environmental role they play.

Please preserve the long arm ridge. I am a new climber and my first visit was to the chimneys. Its the most beautiful place i've been to so far in western north carolina.
