In order to use Kapunda vehicles use Broseley Rd. This road is a wide road so drivers are inclined to exceed the speed limit.There would be less cars using Broseley Rd as a race track if Local Area Traffic Management plan is implemented in Kapunda

Hi, yes I would like to see a traffic plan in place - perhaps speed bumps in Gower St to slow traffic down, regards, Victoria

Even though there is a sign at the top of Bywong St heavy vehicles regularly use this busy narrow street now worsened by school related on street parking. Traffic exceeds the speed limit. Cars park illegally. a school function last year caused a bumper-to-bumper jam that prevented leaving from local driveways. This was due to illegally parked cars blocking traffic flow and also the volume of traffic.

If traffic calming is put in place in neighbouring streets to Bywong St, it will help deter non-local traffic and heavy vehicles, which present a noise and traffic hazard issue in this street.

I regularly have near collisions as commuters using Kapunda street as a short cut speed around blind corners, and nearly take part of my car with them. It is so dangerous and the irony when people are in a rush they get impatient at my efforts to enter my driveway safely. Just to show the danger, our neighbour had his car smashed into while it was parked on the street with major damage, and even our letter box has not escaped unscathed, and we only installed it last year. Our street is too narrow for people to be going the speeds they go and with little consideration of the residents. We need to have a "local traffic only" sign placed on the top of our streets, and there should be a 40km/hr speed limit which is reinforced by regular attendance with speed cameras. Quite honestly it is an accident waiting to happen. Even other streets, like Gower street which already have a local traffic only sign, have a flow of traffic which is beyond what could be local traffic, so the sign needs to be backed up with monitoring and fines.

Kapunda street should be restricted to local traffic only as has a sharp bend and is narrow and leads to other streets that are equally windy and narrow. A single parked vehicle on either side of the road restricts the road to a single lane. This is fine and tolerable for local traffic but becomes intolerable when there are large flows of traffic that represent drivers just trying to short circuit traffic congestion

I agree the S bend in Kapunda Street is a hazard when cars are parked on either side of the road. A high fence also restricts visibility .

Due to the dip in camp street, some cars speed down to gain momentum on the upside, the street is quite shaded making visibility, particularly at the Market

In addition to the concerns raised by others, the traffic level in Gower Street, the steepest in Brisbane, is entirely inapproriate for a suburban side-street.

The 2 bends in the road on Kapunda Street make it a serious hazard when parking occurs on both sides of the road. There should be no parking on the eastern side of the road between #18 and # 24, and management of volumes through all of these streets.

Broseley Rd. is also a problem area, with traffic speeding down the hill and taking the bend at the bottom far too wide. Broseley Rd. also requires some sort of calming. Broseley Rd. is mostly the entry point for the rat running.

BCC are obliged to investigate an action plan to calm traffic in and around West Toowong. The volume and excessive speed of 'transient' traffic escaping Moggill Rd is signifcant in peak times Mon to Fri, and poses a substantial OH&S risk to local residents and their families.

The increase in traffic over the past few years has been a real concern. The early morning 'hoons' in particular wake us up every morning as they speed through the soudan-bent-lodge streets 'shortcut'.
