We need to support our local dairy farmers - and the only way to do this is have it processed and sold locally. I shall not be buying any Muller products until they put our farmers interests to the fore.

I support the Local Milk is Better Campaign and for one, would be happy to pay a more realistic price in order for the diary farmers to get a fair price for their milk as well.

I want to buy local milk, processed locally. I do not want dairy farmers, who already receive inadequate payment from supermarkets, penalised further for Muller's decision to move their processing plant out of the region.

Not just milk but local produce is miles better. It's about time that our local farmers were supported by the local supermarkets.

the supermarkets have been squeezing the dairy farmers for years when in reality most people would happily pay a few pence more to have local milk.

I do hope the dairy farmers can find a solution to this - will they be able to build/get a local plant and revert to a cooperative like the old Milk Marketing Boards?
