Either we support Scottish Dairy Farming or we won't have an industry

We have always had our milk delivered to our door from local dairies, we will continue to do this as long as the service is available, whatever the cost!

Local milk should be available to local consumers. How dairy farmers are treated is shocking.

Ridiculous situation carting milk to remote processing plants.

I'd far rather drink milk produced and processed locally.

Closure of local processing is an outrage! We have milk delivered in city and the quality has recently plummeted with clots of fat/'cream' requiring to be sieved to make it drinkable. This has been reported to the company who tell us it now comes from London / Glasgow or Manchester depending who you speak to. On occasion it was so thick in the bottle neck you could hold the bottle upside down and no milk would pour. Bottle samples have been taken but we have not been informed of results. Meantime we have been supplied with homogenized, pasteurised semi-skimmed milk which is drinkable - but not of the quality we have been accustomed to over decades lived in Aberdeen!

It's a crazy situation, desperate for our dairy farmers, just so Muller can enhance their profit. Buy Graham's Milk!

Ridiculous when we have fresh milk in Aberdeenshire to send it miles away for processing.surely it is better to process it in Aberdeen and therefore it's bound to be fresher.

We should support local farmers and give them a fair price for milk.

Something needs to be done to save our local dairy industry from supermarket dominance

I want my milk to come from local farmers and don't want it travelling hundreds of miles before it reaches me. I'd happily pay more - why are we willing to pay extortionate prices for bottled water but don't pay our farmers a decent price for milk !

Milk should go up for 4pints from £1 to £1.50 and 6 pints from asda from £1.30 to £2 . Fairness to farmers
