I would be willing to pay more for milk if the farmers got a fair deal. Locally sourced milk makes sense.

We've lost over 25% of the milk in Aberdeenshire already in the last 15 years. This move by a multi national company like Muller to pull out of Aberdeen and charge the farmers for transport will signal the end for these last few dairy farmers.

We should be buying locally produced food and minimising the transport and processing. That way the customer gets the freshest product and the farmer sees a return for his efforts.

Since delivery has come from the Bellshill Diary I have had sour milk on two occasions which I never encountered having milk delivered from local diary.
