Milk shouldn't have to go south at a cost to the farmers and then brought back north. Local milk to local supermarkets to support the local communittee

I cant believe that we are in this situation. If we are not careful we will have no agriculture left nor means to support ourselves. I feel very sad each week looking at the farms for sale - somethig you would not have seen very much of in years gone by.

Please will local farmers produce organic milk as there is a large market in Moray buying Graham's Organic Milk which travels a long way to get here. :)

Makes sense not to have milk travelling who knows how many miles when we have resources up here which need to be utilised.

In total agreement,about every thing is heading for the central belt.We must support our local dairy farmers which have been sadly depleted in this corner.

As a supporter of the international FAIRTRADE movement, I think it is disgraceful the way we underpay and do not respect the work done by British and local dairy farmers 24/7.

It is ridiculous that milk from a rural and highly agricultural area cannot be bought locally. More so in the day of carbon footprint.

Work at Arnage & Cairngall dairy farms, 5 jobs at risk here. Milk is transported down to Bellshill for processing and transported back up to our local shops. To many miles
