The Augusta community is so charming. Having helicopters coming in & out and circling the area would destroy not only the ambiance but, the privacy of the families whom reside here.

Please consider the fact that many older residents live near the proposed site and the elementary school would also be impacted by this.

I strongly object to any helicopter pad in the Augusta area, this is a country environment and we do not want the noise as we try and relax in our gardens. We moved to Augusta to enjoy the sounds of natural life not listening to a helicopter whirring around our properties.

I fail to see how the purported benefits of a helipad installation and helicopter flyovers could possibly outweigh the costs to the people of Augusta and the surrounding area. The quality of life of those who have grown up here, those who have moved to the area and those who visit would be greatly diminished by the noise. The school, churches, home, businesses and wineries would all be negatively impacted by such an operation, as would users of the Katy Trail. Helicopters are also a nuisance to livestock and wildlife that are an important part of the area’s economy. Finally, the argument that the commute is difficult for one or two people to travel by car from St. Albans to Augusta could never justify the granting of a special use permit. Let’s not make the mistake of sacrificing quality of life for the many to benefit the few.

I do not want a helipad in Augusta next to the cemetery where my family is buried and where I will be buried one day, don't want the noise or a whole lot of people roaming through the cemetery, or when I visit Augusta I don't want all the noise either.
Thank you,
Diane McGuire

If I flown a helicopter over his house everyday he'd be pissed.
He's only for himself and his investors.
He did not make all his money by keeping locals happy.

Not an ideal spot. Too much noise and distraction to the children.

The school does not need this! It will be distribution for the students and the town folk. As fourth generation living in town I have never seen the need for a helicopter pad in/close to town. The noise level would be way to much.

To close to the school and church’s . The noise would disrupt classes and services and the peacefulness of this little town

I work at the spa in Augusta and it would be horrible to our guests along with the spa guests at the new hotel to be hearing helicopters everyday while trying to relax. Very much against the helicopter rides!

Please do not allow the helipad and no tourist flyover. Keep our air space quiet. This is a rural area.

As a fourth generation family of this area and a member and elder of Christ Lutheran church, I strongly oppose the proposed heliport in the area. The noice generated from fly overs, take offs, and landings would be disruptive to our church services. Please say NO to the heliport!
