Augusta does not need the house or eyesore if daily helicopter rides. Regardless if it's for visitors or Mr Hoffman personal use. Sitting at the entrance to Augusta will take away from the vineyard. Helicopter Noise can affect the elementary school, distraction of pupils and learning. This is just a wrong move for Augusta. Thank you.

As a resident of the town of Augusta, I oppose the proposed helipad as well as ANY helicopter tours of Augusta area, taking off from any location. First and foremost, Augusta is home. It is where our children go to school and play. Please keep Augusta, Augusta.

Strongly opposed to the helipad and/or helicopter tours of the Augusta area. We live in this area for the historical, cultural & quiet beauty of natural surroundings including parks, vineyards, trails & more. I believe many people visit for these reasons. The noise & distraction of helicopters is counterintuitive & possibly damaging. Please reconsider.

Not to mention the dust and dirt that will be airborne. I enjoy the quiet in Augusta very much and don’t want anymore noise pollution.

Allowing helicopter tours and helipads in our area will take away from the peace and quiet people seek when they come here. Please do not allow this.

This would be in my parent’s backyard. I am totally against a helipad being built. Helicopter tours flying in and out all day and evening would disrupt the wildlife in the area and it would disrupt the life-long residents that live in the area. It would also disrupt school classes and church masses. Also, to put it in words that the Hoffman Company might be able to understand and only care about, non-stop daily helicopter take offs, landings, and in-flight tours would also disrupt visitors to the area staying in local bed and breakfasts, or visitors relaxing at the wineries, and even people driving to and from Augusta on highway 94 on their way to wineries who need to concentrate on their driving and not the bright yellow helicopter above their head.
My parents don’t want to listen to helicopter motors every morning and evening when the Hoffmans and their elite guests are flying in from or out to St. Albans or other wealthy neighborhoods each day because by car would take too long and be an inconvenience.
Please, for the good of the residents who make Augusta their home, reject the helipad. Think of their welfare instead of the almighty dollar.

Helicopter tours in an area of St. Charles County that is zoned Agri-Tourism is a bad idea. The noise and distraction would negatively affect the quality of life for residents, visitors, livestock and wildlife. Any benefit would be solely for the operator of the service. I strongly oppose approval of a special use permit for the operation of a helicopter pad in Augusta, Mo.

Augusta has always been the quaint, cozy community to go to to relax, enjoy friends and family and NOT have the CORPORATE feel. There is ENOUGH encroachment with all of the large cities expanding. Leave something's alone and this is one of them.

Helicopter rides will not entice more people to visit the Augusta area - they will come for the beautiful scenery, award-winning wines, and small town shops and atmosphere. Will helicopters flying overhead improve this experience for visitors and residents? If you balance the revenue this attraction would generate against the welfare of the residents and community, I think it's pretty clear who has more to lose.

My children attend school at Augusta Elementary and I cannot find anyway that this would be a huge distraction for the students.
