I moved to the area in 1999 from the over developed area of St. Peter’s. I moved here to a rural setting to avoid Such things as helipads.

This should not be allowed at all , very upset about this . This will ruin our area with all that noise pollution and extra air pollution . This whole thing is getting out of hand / control and it’s going to ruin our quaint quiet beautiful little town of Augusta ! If this gets past it will be absolutely horrible and hopefully somebody isn’t getting paid off under the table to have it pass !

What an awful idea, the exact opposite of what makes this peaceful town so special.

A helicopter pad in the middle of a beautiful quaint town like Augusta would ruin the aesthetic that’s been created over the years of trying to build the atmosphere that’s already been acquired

This is a terrible idea and will cause a lot of conflict and noise pollution in our local community. I have cattle less than a mile from here it will also impact calving season and breeding procedures.

Please don’t put a helipad in Augusta. I’m very sound sensitive and it would drive me to stay away from the area.

The quiet and peaceful integrity of the rural area must be maintained for residents and visitors alike.

This quiet, quaint , Town of artists, nature lovers, and gardeners enjoy the calm charm — and simple life here. The “ Sense of Place” is that of respect for the unspoiled landscape. The Helipad positioning between two cemeteries, houses of worship, and a school does not seem necessary as we have airport facilities nearby. Visitors love to get away from the noise —- they admire and appreciate Augusta’s special qualities. Why accept the ordinary when we have extraordinary. I am signing this document as my commitment to responsible stewardship of this tranquil rural community. May it be preserved with love and care. May we never have the need for helicopters to be on hand due to over development on HWY 94! Let’s strive for balance , harmony, and respect for all.

Please understand that many older citizens live nearby and they value their peace and quiet. Also there is an elementary school nearby.

I oppose a helipad located next to the Augusta town cemetery. A helipad is incompatible with a residential area and a disturbance to the peaceful enjoyment of our homes and community.

The town of Augusta and the local residents are being exploited for the monetary benefit of few whom already have money. It is simply wrong.

Don’t ruin the small town feel of Augusta completely. At least let us enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful scenery.
