This would be a distraction for everyone, including the drivers on 94.

Such a peaceful and beautiful area. Also trying to hike and fish and enjoy nature with unnatural, loud, man-made “bird” helicopter just does not fit the scene there. Please consider moving it further away. It is not that far if a drive from Washington or St. Charles. There is open space in many places. Please consider a field out by Washington bridge. Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge, local citizenry have never been polled by Hoffman to garner support for this and other endeavors. Citizens who have resided in the area long before Hoffman had any interest here should have their choices considered before any one else seeking financial gains.

Thank you for reading the comments. As former Chairman of the Town of Augusta, I am opposed to the helipad for a number of reasons. First, I do not believe this is the type of growth and revitalization the people want for our community. I have spoken with many residents recently and we all agree town need revitalized, but this feels excessive and not necessary. Second, I am personally concerned about the carbon foot print, the impact on natural habits for wildlife and the noise pollution. Augusta has been a peaceful charming small town and we embrace wildlife. The additional developments will displace a lot of wildlife and the number of trees removed to date by Hoffmann is concerning. We are at a time in history where we need to be mindful of our carbon footprint and I see no regard for the environment in this plan. In addition using a helicopter to commute to work is excessive and should not come at the sacrifice of the people hearing it nor the environmental impact. I thank you for supporting revitalization in Augusta and at the same time creating boundaries for the common good of the people whom have called it home for generations. Augusta has taken pride in the past on being a sustainable community and slow steady growth. Please halt here and consider more than the financial impact when considering what makes a community healthy and vibrant.

I am totally opposed to this helipad CUP. Besides the NOISE pollution, it is simply UNNECESSARY. There is a regional airport minutes down the road. For tourist sightseeing, there will be river cruises, trolley rides, gator rides, horse back rides, etc.
Helicopters are NOT what anyone wants to hear, or see, while enjoying Klondike Park, Katy Trail State Park, wineries, golf courses, spa services, outside dining, etc.

This peaceful area doesn't deserve helicopter tours. Visitors should be respectful of this beautiful environment and tour in a quiet pleasant manner.

We don't need to make Augusta the next Branson. He is changing our quite town to the type of town he wants. Noise and trash

I am in total agreement that our quiet rural community remain so. A helipad is not needed when we have an airport within minutes that can service helicopter traffic.

Don’t let Mr. Hoffmann completely destroy the unique rural beauty and tranquility of the Augusta area. We don’t want a hotel/conference center, a 1,000 seat amphitheater, a helipad or helicopter tours flying over our property.

Take your helicopter to Naples and leave it there. Do helicopter tours there and see how that goes over with the residents of that community.

I oppose a helipad in Augusta from a safety standpoint, also from an aesthetic perspective. Instead use the Washington Regional Airport if this form of transportation is necessary.

There is no value to the community and will be a nuisance to the area.
This should not be permitted as part of the PUD. The people of Augusta deserve the respect to maintain a quiet community environment, Helicopter rides do not align with the harmony of this community.

Please consider the local people that will be adversely affected by this proposal. Be a good neighbor. It’s as simple as that.

A more sensible location for the helipad would be the airport on Hwy 47. Please respect the residents' physical and emotional health and keep the charm and serenity of our area by having the helipad at the airport.

Another Silver Dollar City, Branson or even Avon, Co. we do not need...I have been out here for 35 years, weekends on 94 are not in keeping with our fine country living....Mac
