Let's keep those unsustainable developments out of Augusta. Neither a helicopter or hot air balloon will serve St Charles county

I'm happy to see the changes Mr. Huffman has done for our small town and out lying areas Augusta has always been a quiet town and one of the many reasons we enjoy sitting on our front porch or the gazebo in our backyard.

Having lived and worked near a tour helicopter landing pad in Lake Ozark, MO, I can tell you that the noise never stops. Whomp whomp whomp whomp continuously all day long. You can't enjoy any peace and quiet. You can't enjoy sitting on your porch and listening to the birds. You can't talk to your loved ones on the phone due to the noise. Then there is the privacy issue- maybe all of us locals don't want this invasion of people looking into our back yards. This is just an all around bad idea. I've lived it before, don't want to again.

This site is extremely close to Augusta Elementary. The noise of helicopters would negatively impact learning.

Not a good idea for a town historic like Augusta.

I feel our little town is not the right place for this. There is plenty of land away from the town that would be a better location for all!

Helicopters sound like a fast way to ruin the quiet charm of Augusta.

Driving to Augusta is beautiful. Really don’t think tours (if true intent) will be highly sought after. For very random transportation, sure. But you can see the area and all it’s grace by simply driving.

Helicopters will interfere with the quiet harmonious lifestyle in Augusta

Augusta is slowly losing its quaintness. The area will suffer if something like this is approved

I grew up in Augusta Missouri and hate what Hoffman is turning the town into. Im absolutely against a helicopter pad being put into or near town.

This isn't Naples nor Winnetka(suburb of Chicago-north shore)...folks are different here and view things differently!--Tread lightly!
