We don't need any more development
We already have a petrol station and a supermarket so why do we need any more
This is a village not a town.
Do something about Northampton Town centre and LEAVE our village alone.

People move to villages for a reason - to escape the noise, pollution and clutter of modern day living. Another fuel station, drive thru food outlets and a convenience store will disrupt and deregulate a peaceful area that is becoming increasingly overrun with a greater volume of traffic, the new Aldi will increase footfall and the area will lose it's valuable countryside status and simply merge into an extension of Northampton town. It's not essential - please stop!

I agree with the comments on the objection as the proposed development is for a "Motorway Style Service Station" not a Centre for the Locals. It will lead to an increase in anti-social behaviour and LITTER. There is too much car park and too little Green Space.

Why a second petrol station in such close proximity to the existing one? Why a convenience store when there is one at the existing petrol station plus a supermarket, that is due to be opened imminently, that is just across the road from the new proposed center. There also seems inadequate parking allocation to cater for staff and customers which will lead to staff parking in residential streets causing access problems etc. At last years presentation for this development it was unrealistically stated that the staff will either walk or use public transport therefore freeing up parking spaces. Where's the evidence for this?

Already have a long established filling station and convenience store. Further increase in traffic on already dangerous roundabout, too many access roads off Sywell Lane too close together and too near the Moulton roundabout. More noise, light and litter pollution. Still no mention of much needed increase in health services. Area already over-developed and increasing loss of countryside environment and identity of Overstone as a village. Enough.

Environmental cost high on loss of land for wildlife and air pollution.too much demand on over subscribed services, yet no new GP, dentist, schools for any child as the new school won't be. The narrow roads through villages esp. Moulton can't cope and it's a serious problem already. And also totally unsafe now for children to walk to school alone with traffic issues

This proposed development has all the charm of a motorway service station and especially the intended drive-thru outlets make a mockery of all the talk of "sustainable" and "modal transport shifts". A recipe for disaster: Litter, dangerous traffic levels, noise and pollution! We object strongly!

This represents competition in overdrive. There is already a filling station within sight and fast food units not far away. The junction at the roundabout is extremely busy for lengthy periods throughout the day, with drivers approaching from Thompson Way ( no family link!) often chancing their wheels to cross onto the A43. There is no mention of a new, multi-service health centre in the vicinity, which is long overdue and what the area desperately needs. This a classic case of commercial interest coming before community requirements.

No need for another garage and convenience store. Road junctions are to close together and must be stopped. Overstone will be no longer a village ,it will become over developed and a traffic nightmare.

Concerns over volume of traffic and road layout safety. Unclear how this application can support strategies to improve healthy communities

The area is becoming over developed with speeding and traffic already an issue
