Never in the original planning, and the last thing we need are more fast food outlets

I wish to object to this development as I think it will create excess noise and litter in the area combined with far too much extra traffic going through our village. It is also on several primary and secondary school routes which would encourage bad habits in passing children. There are plenty of fast food establishments at nearby Weston Favell Centre.

I object to this application most strongly, it will create a dangerous level of traffic in the area and also cause undue extra noise and litter pollution.

Traffic in the village is going to be terrible but as long as we can get a burger or a coffee!!

We need a local centre not a service station. There is already far too much traffic, the access will be chaos. We do not need another petrol station. We do not want drive through takeaways, this should not be allowed so close to schools. We should be supporting local independent businesses, providing residents with facilities that are needed, more green space and areas for children to play.

Ruining the area. Too many cars.

Bringing new services to the community is a good thing, but they need to be the right services. An additional petrol station, and drive-thru fast food, does nothing to improve the quality of life for the local residents. Drive-thru fast food is a destination service, who in the local area is going to drive there? (if they even want fast food in the first place) The developers, planners and Daventry Council have not understood the target audience. Consult the residents properly, put the effort into providing beneficial services and supporting local independent businesses. Prove us all wrong that this isn't just about money and taking the easy option.

I object to this petition for further development at the edge of our lovely village. The extra cars and litter that goes along with the fast food and drive thru coffee outlets is just too much. Are they going to have staff to pick up all this rubbish which will inevitably be dropped and destroy our countryside? There is already a petrol station why is another needed? What about a doctors surgery for all the people who will live in the new houses being built? I objected the first time and heard nothing. Lots of people in the village objected. Is this just a tick box exercise which will be ignored?

Not possible to get this kind of development into a small area with a single line access.

This just adds traffic to local villages. Fundamentally opposed to fast food outlets in a village setting.

This appalling planning is in total contradiction to all we are being encouraged to do to reduce the destruction of our planet and peoples physical and mental health and well-being. Destruction of farmland and green spaces. Fast food outlets accessible to school c hildren going to and from Overstone to Moulton school encouraging obesity. Congestion and pollution contributing to pulmonary disorders like asthma. We already have a petrol station and another within 2 miles. Litter from food outlets that will further destroy wildlife. Has conservation or a conscience ever crossed developers minds?

Road structure unable to cope with this amount of development it’s already gridlocked with the volume of new residential builds

Enough is enough too many homes being built = far too much traffic- these are narrow roads not built for the volume of traffic you are proposing.

Unnecessary over development of an already congested area which will lead to further congestion through the village

The amount of traffic cutting through the village is already beyond control and with 2 schools is an accident waiting to happen. There is no regard for speed There needs to be traffic calming measures put in by the schools to slow people down before a child gets run over. With 3 schools already in the area and another having been granted planning a stones throw away I can’t understand the reasoning in putting a Burger King on the site other than a lot of money being offered to be able to do this. This is a village community being ruined by greedy developers and a council based in Daventry that don’t care.

I haven't yet moved to the area, however do not see the benefit of the proposal. I'm moving to the new development to get away from units like this with the litter and pollution they bring. Making me sad before I have even moved to Overstone.
