A well-designed aquatic center is needed by all Walton County residents, regardless of age. It can offer swimming lessons, a location for swimming competitions, aquatic exercise classes, and recreational swimming for everyone.

This would be great for those of us who can't afford a pool, both young and old. My chronic health issues keep me from going to the beach and I don't do well in the heat. The youth could use it for swim lessons. And others just to get out of the heat and not have to worry about the gulfs waves and dangers.
