Even $100 GPS systems have live traffic. I don't understand why I can't have in in a car I paid $10s of thousands for.

Just bought a 2016 cx-9 signature. Was very disappointed that this feature is disabled. No one at Mazda mentioned this. Took the pleasure out of owning an otherwise very nice car.

This is a glaring oversight and needs to be updated. Navigation without live traffic? It shouldn't exist nowadays. Even free apps have it.

2016 Mazda6 owner. Love the car, but this nav system should be better. "Can a car be crafted, instead of produced....At Mazda every detail matters..." Words taken straight from the Mazda commercial. Does this not include the nav system? Come on Mazda, let's make every detail matter and get this nav system truly worthwhile and current.

Have a new 2016 Mazda CX-9 Signature. No live traffic updates. Navigation system where I live without live updates is useless. Was never informed that the NAV does not have this basic feature. If the system had Apple Carplay / Android Auto, at least we could connect our smartphones for this feature. With neither live traffic updates and nor mobile platform integration, the system is seriously crippled.

My lease is running out on my 2014 Mazda 6. I absolutely loved the car. Best part was navigation with traffic updates...saved considerable time everyday on my commute to work. I'm in the middle of negotiating for a CX5. I'm glad I saw that the new nav system does not have traffic updates. This is a deal breaker for me.

Had a 2014 Mazda 6 and just got a 2016 Mazda 6. Very disappointed in the Nav System! Although the old Tom-Tom system had small screen, at least it had a functional real-time traffic.
I will be contacting my dealer. This would have been a deal breaker for me!
Not having Appleplay was bad, but this is terrible!!

2016.5 CX-5 GT. Not happy at all that traffic alert , rerouting does not work with nav. Completely dissatisfied.

Current nav system unacceptable. Need live traffic info. Have new 2016 MXda 6. Unhappy with this system.

Current owner of a '10 Mazda 6 and former owner of a '04 Mazda 6 who is considering buying a '16 Mazda 6...but also someone who is deeply disappointed that this feature is not working. Please put forth the effort and make it happen soon.

I've had my 2016 CX-5 for a year now, and I have come to the conclusion that without live traffic, the navigation system is for all practical purposes, useless. I don't use the system anymore and rely on my smartphone. Also, I've heard the same old "we're working on it" story for a year now. It's bizarre that a 2016 Grand Touring model doesn't have live traffic when it was included in my old 2007 Acura! Not to mention, the navigation system was designed to have live traffic as a major and pivotal part of how the system works!

I purchased my 2016 CX-5 thinking that live traffic was one of the supplied features, my salesperson talked about it. I can't believe that I paid this much for a car that doesn't have this feature. I'm not sure I would buy this car again considering this. Mazda needs to sort out the contract and get this feature back in place.

I leased a Mazda CX-5 a year ago and still don't have live traffic in the nav system. My next vehicle will not be a Mazda

Lack of live traffic is going to hurt sales for Mazda. I bought a CX-5 thirteen months ago, and despite "promises" that they're working on it, still no live traffic. Now I'm in the market for a second new vehicle. I won't consider another Mazda without live traffic. What is it going to take, Mazda?

It strikes me that it's fraudulent to say your product has something (HD Traffic Capabililty) when it doesn't.

I bought my Mazda with the navigation system because I wanted the integration it promised. I'd hate to have to go back to using my TomTom suction-cup-mounted unit to get live traffic updates back.
