Lack of live traffic is a major disability. Now I have to kludge my phone into my shiny new 6. Why would I want to do that?

Live traffic is a must have in all navigation systems, since years. I can't understand neither the technical issue nor the commercial issue. Even if a reasonable subscription from car owner was needed to get it (I paid already subscription to refresh the SDcard ... what for ?) : so please, fix this !

As I told Mazda Support this AM, if I had known this 3 weeks ago I would NOT be driving a Mazda today. To not have a plan in this day when I have this available through a $30 app on my Cell Phone is ludicrous. Talk to the folks at Inrix, they partner with the likes of Ford, BMW, Nissan, Daimler, Tesla, Toyota, Audi. I will be contacting my dealer today, at the very least Mazda should make this apparent at time of sale and not charge for a purposely crippled system.

Just bought a new 2016 Grand Touring CX5 on August 27, 2016. My Mazda salesman at Mazda of New Rochelle told me this navigation system would give me live traffic updates. It doesn't. Mazda, fix this!!!

What part do your technicians not get?
Very deceiving and purposely avoided like the plague by sales and management. Come clean Mazda and tell us when an update to the system is available, even a $ 100.00 TomTom has it1

The lack of live traffic updates is very frustrating, The point of a navigation system is to not have to rely on your phone for traffic updates, which keeps the road safer. Please add this feature.

Just bought a new 2016 CX9 and was told by the sales guy that it DID have live traffic with a subscription. Found out after the fact that he was mistaken. Deplorable.

The purpose of navigation apps in a car are to keep people off their phone for safer driving. I got caught in a huge traffic jam because I couldn't rely on Mazda's non-existent traffic map. We pay good money for a great car and a terrible navigation system. It's the equivalent of installing a game of 'Pong' inside a brand new Playstation.

Not having the live traffic feature is totally unacceptable. It's been over a year and it's still not resolved. My next vehicle will not be a Mazda.
