Like everyone else, I am frustrated with the constant outages that seem to happen without any apparent reason.

After complaining to Entergy for two decades about terrible electrical service in Live Oak Estates, I am one that finally gave up and invested $12K in a whole house generator.

I wish they would just cut down the tree that seems to only drop branches on the Live Oak feed!! I am obviously joking to make a point... we are told the issue was a fallen limb just about every time we are restored and it’s just not the case. Inevitably I will review the Entergy outage map and it’ll be the same 170 or so customers here.

As a 30+ year resident of Live Oak Estates I can attest to the poor reliability of our electrical power for entire time I have lived here. Hopefully this petition along with the associated comments will get the attention of both Entergy and the Public Service Commission, resulting in much needed improvement.

Entergy seems to have delayed or neglected the proper upgrades to our subdivision. It is their responsibility to prove to our residents otherwise or make a firm commitment on when they will remedy the situation.

My wife Gail and i have experienced many outages the first was for 5 days ,the second was tow days we have lost food in our freezer & refrigerator . i have not seen a reduction or credit in any of bill's . This seems to be and ongoing occurrence . This outage as well as 2019 needs to be rectified asap.

Ditto to the host of comments above. I've had to return from vacations just to tend to the problems associated Entergy's part-time power. The frequency and duration of the outages is abusive. Frankly, I think Entergy should not be billing us for the electricity portion of our bills until this is rectified, considering that all of us have spent thousands in generators, hotel rooms, spoiled food, missed mandays of work, and a host of other inconveniences.

Entergy has failed to address the root cause and fix it. Instead they continue to address the symptom, repeatedly having to implement repairs.

I’ve been a Live Oak Estates resident for 25 years. I’ve lost count of the numerous times I’ve lost electricity. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Outage frequency is ridiculous. Power goes out even when there is no storms...it can be a sunny day.

810 Shadow Oak The frequency of the outages are bewildering. It has become a running joke at this point.

Our yard was dug up in two places 2 years ago by Entergy. They said they finally had enough incidents to take care of infrastructure problems. They were not appropriately addressed as seen from last two years events.

Entergy just cut up our yard with a new line and nothing has seemed to improved. Please help.

We have lived here 29 years and have had multiple outages each year. We finally broke down and bought a generator. It gets used often.

Ridiculous how often we lose power when absolutely nothing is going on regarding weather.

We ended up buying a generator a year or so ago due to the frequent power outages in our neighborhood.
