This venue is to good to lose. They could have a limit on sound
Stopping the music is not an option.

Live music brings the tourists in and locals enjoy it too. It is not that its going on late into the night. Sewerby needs the Ship Inn which has invested into the local economy.

Live music is important for tourists and locals alike. These businesses have been through too much already. They need support not this

A great loss to Sewerby, many people return to Sewerby year on year an contribute to the local economy.A large majority rekindling happy memories in the one place remaining in business for years!
A small minority want to deny the pleasure of many people with no valid reason. In short if you object to noise (once a fortnight, seasonally) then don’t buy a house within a stones throw of a thriving public house!

The ship inn has provided a great venue for artists and families to enjoy for years and I dare say way before some of the complainants moved in to the area

A sad day for Sewerby. You’ve invested so much money, time and energy in the Ship Inn, supported many local charities, served the village and the wider community with a meal delivery service during lock down and this is how some people have chosen to repay you, 3hrs on a Sunday during the Summer months with a short break in between, there is no genuine reason whatsoever for anyone to complain. Let’s hope you can bring back the live music soon.
Good Luck!

This is ridiculous. Having live music and creating a atmosphere is part of our community. Don't buy a house near a lively pub and then complain.

Appalling that some people feel the need to complain. Apparently they complained about them being able to serve a liqueur in the coffee from their cafe ! we are local and can hear the music from our garden and it certainly does not bother us and it is just in the afternoon once a week or so in the high season . They are trying to bring much needed trade to this area .

The Ship Inn is a valuable asset to the village of Sewerby and live music is clearly important got the viability of the venue. I would say to the residents association Live and Let Live and don’t damage the viability of this venue with your fog in the manger sttitude

The Ship in doe lots of fundraising for good causes.Music is a part of life, without it we would all be miserable, it uplifts you, instead of sitting in your houses and complaining come to the Ship and meet interesting people, life's too short.
Keep the live music going
