I have been visiting the Ship Inn since being very young, such a wholesome wonderful vibe. It is wonderful to sit and listen to the music. Live music is something which should be kept, it gives local musicians a platform to play, and the locals and tourists the opportunity to enjoy this music. Good luck.

Please allow live music to continue at this fabulous location. We have a property in Sewerby and welcome this.

This is unreasonable. When you live near a pub you expect some noise. The noise is limited to a short period of time. Can a compromise be made so that live music is only on 2 days a week for say 2 hours at a time. Whenever I have been there the music is in the day so won't be disturbing sleep. The pub deserves support. It's a great venue and attracts tourists and locals alike.

I have been coming to The Ship for my whole life, and I firmly believe it is one of the best pubs around. The service and vibe they provide is second to none, and if the live events are taken away from them, I feel it will not only be a loss to the team involved, but also to the community.

Beggars belief that a live music event is stopped, because one person, out of half a dozen, might want to take a nap, on a Sunday afternoon.

They moved next to a pub that's been there long before they were. If this was a problem maybe live elsewhere

I live close by and the music isn't any louder than the light aircraft flying over all day long.

Charlie & Lou have put their heart and soul into the business to make it the roaring success that it is today. They entertain so many people with the live music it would be a massive shame and a huge loss to the public to lose it.

The music attracts visitors to sewerby and its immediate surroundings. The music provides opportunities for local musicians to perform infront of a crowd, attracting customers to a well respected and well run local pub. It's mot like the music is on every day!
