The current plan is fine. The new one is a recipe for disaster!

You have a choice to leave the current plan in place and listen to the vocal majority.

All you have to do is look around and see the disaster so many other counties have made. Do we want that to happen here?

Let's not repeat the mistake many counties have already made, and let's choose NOT to revise the comprehensive plan!

Let's take the time to get this right - the future of Orange County and that of its residents is at stake. Vote down the current Comp Plan.

The purpose of public hearings is to recieve the public's feelings on any given subject. These feelings, if valid, opinions should be reflected in the final product. The Planning Commission ignored much of the public input. Hopefully the BOS is listening and will respond.

I think that the Plan's revision should include input from the citizens of Orange County and truely reflect what we want. If the residents of Orange County wanted to live in a highly developed bedroom community with higher population, more traffic, sprawl and higher taxes, we would move. Enough gas to take you 50 miles and a UHaul truck will permit a person to relocate in a crowded neighborhood. I live here because I like it, and want to see Orange County grow in a positive way that benefits most people instead of a few who are allowed to install haphazard housing and buinesses without suitable infrastructure and a zoning ordinance that enhances our current rural area.
Please represent your constituents.
