I live in Warsaw, though I'm Belgian. I know fantastic unprejudiced people, but the sad reality is, that we are a minority. And the politicians at power, although presenting themselves as Catholic, don't even acknowledge the minimal condition needed to live in a multicultural society: tolerance. That's why Poland is for Polish "patriots". That's why I live there, but only in small but strong circle of fantastic open-minded people.

Ich werde im Polenurlaub auch immer beschimpft obwohl ich von dort stamme und nicht exotisch aussehe. Die Menschen sind dort etwas wilder und direkter, gestresster und ärmer was das Verhalten natürlich nicht entschuldigt. Einfache Menschen bekommen dort z.Z leider eine Gehirnwäsche durch die katofaschistischen Medien. Einige machen das aus Trotz gegen Deutschland. Es ist einfach nur peinlich. Hoffe ihr habt euch davon schon gut erholt.

Dear Berliners, Dear Germans! Please don't judge all Poles only on stupid behaviours of several idiots. We have indeed tough time in Polish politics. I hope you will have another chance to experience our hospitality and meet normal Poles. Again, sorry for what happened to you. All the best!

Es ist mir besonders peinlich, weil ich sehr viel Zeit in Berlin verbracht habe und immer wieder kehre ich zurück in die voll freundliche, offene, multi-kulti Gesellschaft in der Hauptstadt. Ich hoffe Ihr nehmt die Ersignisse in Polen nicht zu sehr zu Euch.
