I never recieved the "village letter" and I pay village taxes. Enforce your codes to make more money for the village. The tower is not the answer.

I have a four year old who I would to see grow up in a town without the addition of a cell phone tower that might cause cancer. Please find another way to generate income for the town that does not cause health risks.

Why not put it in a less populated area. One that is not used by many commuters, one that does not contain a park that is used by numerous residents and non-residents. A better location would be the extreme north end of Firemans Park. Less residents and that area that has been taken over by the Lindenhurst FD is not used as much as the proposed site. The best alternative would be no cell tower in the Village whatsoever. There is already one at Venitian Shores. Put this up for a vote instead of shoving it down our throat like the new fire house on Wellwood Ave.

If it goes up, which I hope it doesn't for the sake of our children, but if it does, the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN RENT MONEY that Lindenhurst will be getting from the phone company, will that go towards lowering our taxes?

As a fourth generation Lindenhurst resident, I live within walking distance of the cell site I strenuously object to the Village's disregard for my neighbors' health. When Bethpage residents chose to be blind to the Navy's ground water pollution plume, they doomed their neighbors to cancer that will live on for generations. I don't think hanging a flag on it will change my mind that the Village Board's priorities are not mine...health, then convenience.
