Zoning laws are here for a reason. Alderman Smith was elected based on her philosophy of 'sane development.' Who is she trying to appease? Lurie and McCaffrey?
Why do we bother having zoning laws if they do not apply? Lincoln Park is not Manhattan or Streeterville, please do not destroy a beautiful and vital neighborhood by increasing the density beyond its support capabilities.
Please do not make this area any more congested than it already is & listen to the plea of our neighbors on this issue.
Keep the heart of the neighborhood intact. Those massive towers are totally out of place next to the historic homes on Orchard and Halsted. Rethink the scale please.
Traffic is already a nightmare over here. Adding thousands of people is just gonna make it impossible to park or drive. Bad plan.

The height and density issues for the latest plan still need to be addressed. The towers are just too high.
