I am a Hamlin resident and can hear the noise of the all night operations at Sargent Sands and the corresponding truck traffic. It is very disturbing. Please consider these reasonable limits and allow us to enjoy a peaceful community again.

Can we please leave some sand for our children's children. Greed stinks, especially when you know the sand is going to Fracking wells all over the country, to pollute our ground water!

ra·pac·i·ty rəˈpasədē noun: rapacity aggressive greed "the rapacity of landowners seeking greater profit from their property" In 1983 after the passing of her father, Francessanna “Fran” Sargent took the reigns of Sargent Sand Co. Today, the next generation of leadership is taking place and her son, Tom Webber plays a very active role in the day-to-day management. ------ RAPACITY = Francessanna “Fran” Sargent's Ludington legacy.

There must be changes made to the currently disruptive and destructive practices.

Please stop or reduce the amount of sand that is extracted from our dunes!!!!

The constant movement of trucks on Jagger Road will result in faster deterioration of the road and more cost of repair than if not subject to the constant heavy use. Also, the rape of the sand will alter the dunes and if extended will leave the area a wasteland. The sand removal should be limited to maintain the dunes and keep the natural beauty and environmental quality.

Please be more respectful of our little community and our precious environment . Please consider more practical hours of trucking. Business isn't all about the money.

Our natural resources need to be left alone. Continuing to mine will be incredibly destructive.

Often awakened by low frequency noise at night and can feel it during the day. Hear engines and backup alarms from trucks. AND I LIVE TWO MILES AWAY!

Put on your calendars to protest the State DEQ renewal of Sargent Sand mining permit when next reviewed in 2021-2022.

This activity is a nuisance to the community. Beginning work so early is extremely disrespectful to us, and the others that call Hamlin Lake their home. Please begin the noisy portion of your business at appropriate hours.

The speed of these huge trucks is deceiving, As a biker it's really a hold in for your life as they roar by ..

Ludington needs to encourage tourism not drive them away. Limiting trucking hours especially during summer tourism hours should be encouraged.
