City of Clayton seriously considering this? You've got to be kidding! How much open green space can you eliminate?

Removal of parking lot and additional traffic congestion would hinder existing businesses. What about using existing sites in the 81-8200 blocks of Forsyth that have been vacant for years instead?

I do not believe that this building is in keeping with the neighborhood. It is too large and would negatively impact the current businesses and parking needs for the area. Please rethink this!

More congestion on Hanley will not be tolerable.

I believe this proposed project will significantly worsen traffic along Wydown. Hanley is already a mess with the current construction projects already in place.

The overall look of the building seems to be at odds with the rest of the area.

The proposed building is too big for the area & would cause too much congestion as well as destroying the ambience of that wonderful neighborhood.

Definitely opposed. There is no question that this development would have a negative impact on the businesses at that intersection and create more traffic congestion.

Terrible idea. I had to park 2 blocks away to have dinner there. We need more parking not more condos

Reduced parking and green space are not positives for the neighborhood and local business.

Agree with above comments. Over development of a small site is very negative, especially in this vibrant retail district.

we do NOT need any additional condos on that corner. We need the parking lot for our shops and restaurants and we also don't need any additional reasons for traffic congestion. I am totally against it.

Having attended the meeting last night that the Mayor (and the very obnoxious woman to her right who is not on the board) clearly did not anticipate the need to tell the neighbors about, It was apparent that there will be a lot of discussion before the sale of the lot and the approval of the plan. We don't need a market that no one will use. It won't offer enough and will be way overpriced. Start the condos lower, keep the zoning (or who knows what other buildings will go up), and have a more compact design. Make sure the city and the developer have a plan not only to replace lost parking during construction, but make sure as well that they monitor current parking violations, have security and parking people at the school garage, and get much better signage to indicate that Forest Ct is 1-way.

Too big for the area, more parking than needed in the area. This is a lovely quiet part of Clayton, and we don’t want to lose these restaurants.

This proposed building is way out of proportion to the neighborhood and the design out of step with its surrounding buildings. Visually the proposed building's first floor is about in line with its neighbor's 2nd floor. Any parking access from Hanley Rd. would cause traffic safety issues.

City of Clayton needs to follow their own zoning regulations. Three stories with the established setbacks.

Feel this development is too big for space. With Centene traffic on Hanley is a nightmare! Why the need for more condos?? And why allow this development to build a larger building than the lot allows? I question the deal! I also feel it will have a HUGE impact on the existing and thriving businesses both during construction and after the completion and the impact is very likely to be NEGATIVE!

I agree with this petition. I also feel that the design is not suited for the neighborhood.

Not sure this is in the best interest of the area. No problem with development, just not sure the design of this one is what is needed for this area... need more information. The design is far too contemporary for the area, just because they use brick does not mean it visually fits in the neighborhood.
