This is nothing but a land grab by Savoy and adds no value to the area. All we need are more condos in Clayton. Also, looking at the photo, where would all those new parking spaces be? I'm all about progress, but this doesn't make sense for anyone but Savoy.

My wife and I are very opposed to this development. We live in a Hanley condo now and think the neighborhood is at capacity now. This proposed building would create too many problems at this location and would devalue the businesses already there.

The proposed development is too large, too close to the street and out of character for the neighborhood. It would have a deleterious effect on the area and would be a disaster for the businesses who need the parking space for their customers. There its already a large multi-story building goin in on the corner of Hanley and Clayton. Where its the evidence that the neighborhood needs 15 more condos?

The proposed development is out of scale for the area, would further congest the intersection, adversely affect the businesses during construction, increase parking problems, inconvenience the surrounding neighborhoods and be out of place aesthetically. The Hanley Wydown business district features some of the last vestiges of "old Clayton" with a variety of interesting architectural styles. Whatever is done with the parking lot should enhance, not detract, from this charming corner.

We need to support small businesses in Clayton. The idea of a 4-story eyesore on Hanley Road to increase traffic congestion is absurd. We need the parking to support the quaint restaurants that make living in Clayton worthwhile. Savoy development does not meet the needs of our community.

This development is totally inappropriate for this space. It would dwarf everything around it, and really destroys the look and feel of that part of Wydown. Haven't we done more then enough over-building in Clayton??

The height of this building is of concern to me. And the setback reduction is beyond the pale. If you have ever walked on Hanley, it is absolutely frightening. If anything, the setbacks should be increased!
