I strongly oppose this development. There are many other, more suitable, sites in downtown Clayton. Hanley and Wydown is already congested during peak traffic hours; this development would significantly change the nature of the area.

I am deeply concerned about this proposed development. The small business owners at Wydown & Hanley overwhelmingly oppose this. I am also concerned about traffic and parking. As a resident of the Moorlands, my building is already getting significant parking overflow from Peno. We are located across the street; Peno employees and customers park around our building and at certain times of day there is barely parking for residents. Closing this lot will only increase that issue, especially in the Moorlands as the Polo neighborhood restricts street parking. I do plan to attend the meeting.

The proposed project exceeds capacity space and will generate significant traffic ingress and regress issues along with significant conflicts with bicyclists and pedestrians in what is the regions most serene and cherished boulevard.

This project as presently configured is viewed as unacceptable by the vast majority of owners living in the condos on Hanley Road that I have surveyed. The vertical size, footprint, nonconforming design and traffic disruption are all frequently cited as rendering it a nonstarter.

While the rendering is attractive...the architectural style and height of the building are not in keeping with the neighborhood. Traffic would also be negatively impacted at already busy intersection also. Vote No.

because our aldermen/women and mayor are addicted to development. There is no "contra" perspective in city hall - if it's projected to grow revenue, they want it. If it's not going to grow revenue, they don't listen to it. We need to recognize that Clayton, St. Louis County, and most of this region already has enough development, we need to change the existing (unused) buildings, not take more property for development. Why couldn't this project be where Laytons (on Clayton road) used to be (more than a decade ago), without impacting this unique corner?

opposed - we still have yet to see what new traffic will be funneled down the Hanley corridor from the expansions of the Centene complex, we don't need more traffic and disruptions added to the mix. Plus this space belongs to all of the citizens of Clayton, we don't benefit from this development, only the developer does. We've done enough for the real estate lobby, we need to do more for the rest of us. That intersection's aesthetics are unique and are the entrance to the Wydown Boulevard experience, this will not be a good way to "gatekeep" that experience.

We strongly oppose! This is the LAST thing that Clayton and the proposed intersection needs!!! PLEASE CLAYTON, please preserve yourself. We are becoming a damaged GEM!! Enough... take a breather. How much more do we need in a congested area... already? People are already honking all of the time!!!
How can our SCHOOLS contain all of this development?

Why do we have to get to this point, why can't our alderman and mayor say that is not a good plan for this sight, why do the Clayton citizens always have to fight for what is best in Clayton. We select our alderman and mayor to represent us, not the developers.
