THIS IS A NECESSARY BILL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY!

After 27 years of marriage, narc divorced me. I worked in his business and told not to take much salary due to taxation. He had another woman all along and she now has my life. I am without much for Social Security credits but had to give him half of the IRAs. Alimony should have been demanded but court commissioner would not order it. I suffer from CPTSD and have survived his smear campaign. This law would have been most helpful.

Half my life wasted! Completely destroyed a family . Devalued for years not knowing why im a mess. I found a good therapist and then I was aware and so he discarded me without a word. Tape recordings will prove the lies and all he forgets and denies. He is playing the victim and having fun being single while I suffer and stop caring for myself. The whole time blaming me for years of his verbal, financial and mental abuse I’m just told to get over it and move on each time no matter what he does, says, breaks or ignores. There is no closure because theres no never apologies. I can’t keep track of all the things because it was constant and my mind is a mess now trying to remember and then reliving it all. Just one simple phone call or text scares me and it’s just meant to destroy me again. No contact is impossible but I see why that’s necessary. It is probably easier to let them keep their mask on and just live a miserable life not knowing why you’re “crazy”

I'm so happy to see that someday we may have legal avenues to persue to try and at least make some kind of new life for ourselves

I am all for this law! The impact Narcs have on another person has lasting harmful lifechanging effects for a lifetime.

I am thriving after NPD partner tried to destroy me and my life. It has been one of the most difficult times of my life. I find almost no resources to assist me....why is this?

Took me 2 years to start to heal mental abuse is just as bad .

I have suffered greatly as well as my adult children and now our granddaughter is suffering after a 25 yr. Relationship and 19 yr. Marriage in order to cover up his lies and keep my focus on her instead of seeking the proper judgement in our divorce which he sits in contempt now 11 months after settling our divorce agreement. It should be unlawful to manipulate and destroy someone else's life and just move on to do it again to someone else. I pray this law passes! I was a dedicated housewife and mother and now at 51 I'm struggling financially, emotionally and my physical health is jeopardized with no health benefits and a diagnosis of C-PTSD. It's simply wrong and no one deserves this.

This is perfect. Too many people think they can waste the systems minwy, make false accusations and get away with it. My bro is Jr kne such situation.

My ex shot a gun at me in our marital residence with no provocation. It is clear he has NPD and our children and I were emotionally abused by him. He did not even get any jail time - because he missed. For reference Robert C Smith 5/18/15 shooting Warren County NY

I have suffered from psychological, emotional, & financial abuse from multiple narcissists throughout my life. I was faithfully married for almost 35 years, yet, my ex-spouse has been legally allowed to steal a finamcial inheritance from me & withdraw life-long benefits from me. After repeated adulteroys affairs throughour our marriage, & bleeding me dry to pay off his debts he acquired due to his personal addictions, he ransacked the house, emptied the bank accounts, & filed for divorce -- ALL WITHOUT A WORD TO ME!! I feel like I was blind-sided by a freight train! Yet, I have no "legal" ability to pursue any recourse against him. At the age of 62, I have been "thrown away" & left on my own. Everything about this is WRONG!! Yet, he is free to enjoy the life he promised me & then destroyed!

For godssakes. The numbers of men and women alike who've been a victim of these monsters. Hours spent proving the abuse, only to be told recordings and pics are inadmissible or not reinvent. Years of battered minds not just bodies. Silent suffering and ptsd. PASS THIS The ONLY thing a narcissistic individual understands is MONEY. it's as cold as they are. Maybe if the realize being Inhuman to human beings would cost them, they would stop. My ex dared me to consult a lawyer because he KNEW I would be dismissed.
