A bill like this needs to go into affect to protect the victim and the CHILDREN stuck in the court system due to narcissist abuse. It needs to be known in the legal system that this is a personality disorder that cannot be changed and affects not only the other parent but children emotionally, socially, impeding the morals of the child and placing all at risk financially as well as physically

Me and my kids were all 5 abuse and so was his other 4 kis and his parents by what he did to us. I have many years of theropy ahead of me. His actions resulted in ptsd, parinoia, anxiety, and depression. He needs to pay for the hell and the hell my kids have endured for what he did to us!

I lost everything just to amuse my last boyfriend. He tricked me into moving 1000 miles away. Got me pregnant then threw me and my daughter out on the street. I asked him if he felt bad for making my innocent daughter suffer such a loss. He looked at me and smiled, said “that’s your problem”. Please make people like him accountable for what they do.

To many men get away with mental abuse as there is no physical scars. I have so many friends that has suffered through this and it's time everyone that suffer through this receive protection against a crime against the soul.

Narcisstic abuse is very serious and will create large amounts of trauma. I currently have a case in the Maine Supreme Court fighting narcisstic abuse due to the trauma that I have endured. It is a serious topic that someone needs to intervene correctly to save the victim from further abuse.

Even if you've never been abused in this manner...these ARE crimes and it costs nothing to support this bill. Make all kinds of abusers be held accountable.

As a military ex-wife for over 12 years, I must said that this type of abuse runs rampant among the latest generation of "honorable veterans". Of course, their excuse is their alleged and convenient PTSD (which provides them plenty of freebies on taxpayers dime). Once divorced, if the veteran got discharged prior to retirement, there's absolutely NOTHING left for ex-spouses but the continuous overwhelming sorrow of knowing that all their love, loyalty and unconditional support was for naught. Meanwhile, the abusers get glorified on a daily basis, and God forbid somebody says anything negative about these "honorable" service members. Most of them play on people's sympathy because of the "sacrifices made for country and freedoms blahblahblah", without giving a second thought to the spouses who TRULY made every single one of those those sacrifices and many more. The mindset in this country needs a serious change; having a great view of ALL veterans and assuming that, just because they once wore that honorable uniform they are ALL automatically good upstanding man is completely distorted and unrealistic. The hell that their family members go through is always overlooked.
