Bravo - I will hope that this will be a initiative that is recognised world wide to finally acknowledge how insidious this problem is and how deeply it affects everyone involved with these people, who are left with chronic PTSD , cognitive stress disorder and many many other ailments, with the Narcissist going on to destroy many many more people-
Best of luck

Just raising awareness of this disorder among the public and particularly the judges who preside over divorce cases would help immensely. Children exposed to repeated shaming and betrayal are so abused but society does not protect them. Teenagers need to be taught the warning signs of NPD to avoid being entangled in abusive relationships in the first place. Children need to be informed about NPD, not just stranger danger so at least they know the parent has the problem, not them. How can society protect them?

You have to live it to completely understand but to live it also means spending a lifetime understanding how to not let it happen again.

The emotional and physical abuse after a 31-year marriage, abandoning the house, everything in the house, our two dogs, his car (who died very soon afterwards from (I’m not kidding) a broken heart, his mother-in-Law who was 95 years old, his supposed BFF, and dying of heart failure literally was so shocking to all of us that I was diagnosed with PTSD, discovered he’d been having multiple affairs and was addicted to porn for at least 25 years, and had been sleeping with prostitutes, some of whom weren’t even 18 years old. He’s 60. It put me over the edge and I was suicidal, have had to pay thousands of dollars for therapists, and am just starting to heal after 3 years. I am scarred for life. When confronted with one affair, he assaulted me and almost broke both my wrists when he held me down. He’s threatened to punch me out several times and also to “go all out destruction on me!” many times. I wouldn’t let anything happen to me, so I took control of our finances after he left and did our mediated financial agreement in my own. I am strong, but never knew how strong until I have had to live through the trauma of having been assaulted and threatened, seeing the sordid sexual addictive behaviors, reading the sick texts to his prostitutes, and enduring the tremendous amount of gaslighting and lies he’s told me. This “malignant personality disorder” should be considered extremely dangerous and should go to jail, or at least have to pay a dear price for being so cruel and abusive in every single way.

I was with a malignant narcissist husband for 45 years. He left. I am left with complex ptsd, panic attacks, anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, inability to trust and hypervigilance. He tricked me into selling my home and alignated our children and grandchildren. The court gave me half his military pay but it dies with him and social security will force me into welfare. The courts need to hold these people accountable. Victims deserve reparations. Why did he wait until i was old and tired to discard me? I will live out my life in subsidized housing in a crime infested neighborhood. He should be jailed.

Surviving and coping cptsd aftet divorce from a malignant narsissist..my baby in one hand and my broken self on the other fighting for every day in hope for a better tomorrow.
Emotional abuse is a crime.it is an offence mechanism .. the narc.. loved it desired it .. no body was attacking him.
Justice is what we victims want.

After 8 months of marriage to a narcissist I filed for divorce. Both our our attorneys stated that he had been a fraud. He wanted his citizenship, had a very promiscuous double life full of male prostitutes and std's. Living with him was like being in the Twilight Zone. When his behavior was questioned he would call the police on me. 3x they told me something was wrong with him and to leave. After the divorce an ex of his reached out to tell me her very similar story of dating him.
