I am a victim of narcissistic abuse. I support the efforts to enact this bill.

A survivor of serially narcissistic abuse.

My mother has taken everything including my soul... I cant stand alone.

Each account of narcissism in relationships (emotional, mental, financial, and maternal-) rings eerily recognizable and similar to my experiences. I’ve been destroyed, my life uncertain on many fronts. My father raised me with unconditional love and concern for fulfilling a beautiful, educated, cultured life. My mother snidely, purposely, sans regard has sucked the life out of me, marionetting my responses. It is thus that made it easy to fall into FOUR scarring (politely put) long-term relationships.

Covert psychological abuse follows a pattern and can be proven in a court of law

Children and siblings of narcissists should also be well-compensated for the psychological damage caused by the intentional infliction of emotional trauma.

Uphill battle in that many (most) legislators are narcissists themselves. That's why (in CA, and I assume elsewhere), a spouse earning his or her law degree during marriage, is specifically exempted from community property. Think the lawyers who became legislators had anything to do with that?

This is wonderful news and i pray it is instated all over the world as well my country, South Africa. Narcissists need to be pujished and exposed.

I've been a victim of this evil madness for the past 4 years. This woman has slandered me unlentless to family, friends,neighbors, colleagues, and business connections--all because I uncovered her false masked. This one happens to be in the pulpit. I've reported it to the authorities and was told there was no law against slander. With professional counseling and my strong faith, I am a surviver, but her abuse continues even though many people have found out for themselves the nature of her malicious and diabolical behavior.

I believe this Law needs to be passed.

Narcissisticism should be held accountable for their actions. These kind of people prey on the ones that love them.

I would also suggest that anyone who has more than one no contact order or protection from abuse order against them be put on a national registry that includes a mugshot. And it should be a law that dating websites provide the link and include a warning about the potential for narcissists to use dating websites to seek out supply.

As a victim of narcissistic abuse from my ex husband and now that he’s tracking me on the net post 25yrs calling my family trying to find out where I really am this law is critical to those of us who need help but are refused.
