I am going through recovering from this and it is a struggle....that is putting it lightly. Noone should have to live like this or go through this pain, and there is great pain involved.

A narcissist in my family has caused unbearable pain that will stick with us for years to come. Sadly, the children are being affected as well.

4 years of abuse with a narcissist, possibly a psychopath (I'm not qualified to diagnose). I'm about to lose my home, I've been ripped off £60K. I am almost bankrupt. The list goes on with all the same offenses discussed in this "brief" synopsis.

Something has to be done to help victims and reduce narcissistic behaviors.

Very real. Very destructive. Very secret. Knowledge is the only defense. Leaving is the only solution. Best wishes to all.

This is a crime I was tortured by a NPD husband and also his children were victims and are suffering. No compensation can be made too relieve this abuse. But what he did and has done is a crime and should be treated as a Crime.

I have been married to a very abusive narcissistic man for 11 years and I desperately want freedom from him for myself and my daughter. He continues to abuse me even though he’s not living in the home.

Steven, this is one of the worst stories I have read about narcissistic abuse. We have all been through something similar, but your narc took it a step higher by even keeping you from your own home. Please keep us updated on your situation and I hope that you make it through. Your ex-narc deserves to rot in hell.

I lived on the Gold Coast at the state of Queensland Australia. I’ve spent so more than half a decade to get her Permanent Residence Visa from Thailand to come and live with me her starting a young family happily together. She changed into another person I barely even know after 6-10 months since 2014. I bought a house so that my three children and us could call it home. Sadly, she had cheated behind my back more than three and half years preventing me for doing my occupation efficiently, isolated me from the society and friends. All kind of abuses anyone who have live in it to believe how my three young children and myself are walking on eggshells and do nothing hoping to escape those fears and abuses we are getting from my ex wife. False accusations in the courtroom threatening me not to hire lawyer in 2017 else she will be breaking up with me if I do. Set me up because he was the only person in this world I trusted, believed, have faith in, adored, loved, even worship and fear most. She continued to smear, gaslight and all the list in narcissistic guidelines anyone could find or cannot find. On top of that, even attempting to poison me with her cooking... Cut the story short. She invaded, robbed, and destroyed my life leaving homeless and forcing me to a default situation placing set up criminal charge for breaching and protection order as well caveat my house preventing me from selling it. I felt for the safety of my children and I can’t do anything about it. When I was asking for support and help. People think I’m crazy and never have taken me seriously while I was crying out loud for emergency help. Instead of explaining to them including my lawyers that I’m the victim. All they told me was the judge will still see you (me) as a perpetrator just because I’m the 4% men. I feel so vulnerable and powerless and lost and still don’t understand what I have and haven’t done wrong to deserve all of these irrational punishments. On the 10-11 Aug

Family court needs to become aware of these disordered individuals and order justice for the families affected by them. Family court judges get these cases wrong 70% of the time. We are losing our most valuable resources-our children to these criminals.

I'd very much like this passed in the UK too. The trauma from this type of abuse destroys the inner being.
