Signing, because I am a long term victim myself. Life and goals are trampled continuously, they survive a dying ember in one's heart where to fan the flame to any life, is to invite further insult - and even theft of one's goals and hurt, by one's tormentor themselves. Yes, even in therapy they will lie and act out an Oscar-winning performance that is rehearsed in the next room, in your presence. As someone said: 'Even the Devil himself gives a fairer deal' than a narcissistic abuser. Only legislation like this proposed legislation - carried out - can protect the gentle and unaware from the traps they are born to set: from their mind that is a native to Hell.

N is a crime whose contents are punishable in every religion. It should be punishable in law of the land too.

I am a survivor. This would make such a difference for so many of us. It needs to include some work towards protecting our children from our abusers. Ever tried family court with a malignant narcissist? It's the most soul draining, horrifying experience I could have imagined. Forget co parenting with one. Thankful anyone is working on this, thought I was alone going through hell for the longest.

I am all for making this a law. This needs tk be addressed. Been dealing with a narc for 5 years and it is not fair he does not get punished for his poor behavior.

This absolutly needs to be law and understood as one of the most devastating violent covert forms of abuse!

For my mom

I think they should at least have to register with the government like sex offenders do. Especially since most of these people have a history of assault on their records. That in itself is a sign a person is a narcissist.

I agree narcissistic abuse/ stalking should be a crime I. The USA I also believe that courts should demand that narcissist show up in court after they are accused of this abuse rather tgab the one time to avoid a warrant. Victims go to court month after month and the perpetrators never show up . No justice for us with systems in place like this.

This petition and law seem to provide some hope for those caught in terrible relationships with narcissists. A good cause!

I believe narcissism should be a crime.

They are not worth your time. There needs to GE something done for these "special needs" mentally ill people. Some can be highly dangerous. Mine held a gun to my head, chased by a knife, starved, abandoned in the bush, physical, mental, sexual and emotional abuse of all kinds. Enough us enough. Regular counsellors do not work, jail time doesn't work, court appointed therapy never works they require specialized treatments their brains are not wired the same. Make brain scans mandatory!

This is a serious issue that's damaging to your mental & physical health. Experiencing every form of abuse possible since childhood carried on into my adulthood. I experience & have been diagnosed from more than half of my life in therapy with PTSD, Anxiety & Panic Disorder & severe depression. The Laws need to change now to give more support to people in these positions. Life could've turned out differently but only had 2 choices to stay or runaway & or be homeless. Suffering from this kind of abuse from most male figures in life has made me fearful & paralyzed to live a fulfilling life. Counseling can be sometimes helpful but with the Unskilled counselors (speaking from 25 yrs of experience sitting in a room talking Can make matters 10 times worse if a person isn't trained properly. Women & men are suffering, I still suffer with severe flashbacks. Experiencing people controlling your mind & telling you what to do, how to do it to their liking or else be punished in any way they see fit is inhumane. I'm signing this position for everyone that didn't make it out alive or committed suicide because they couldn't deal with the Abuse anymore. Life is a living hell when you have such limited resources. I can only pray the laws change. Victims usually don't Realize the damage caused by Narcissistic Abuse until they leave or get completely abandoned & isolated from reality. I feel this will fall on deaf ears considering how restraining orders mean Nothing & ordering Abusive people to anger management classes Don't Work! They come out laughing & sometimes continue to torment us & we have no rights to protect ourselves. This Must be taken more seriously & create individual & Group programs no matter What your insurance is or if you don't possess any due to your financial situation. Victims that have endured years of abuse have difficulty with work & their personal lives. Every survivor never fully recovers without extensive resources available to help. Not every victim
