Anna Lee has been on General Hospital since 1978. She is the martriarch of the Quartermaines and the heart of the show. Everyone loves Lila. This is age discrimination at its worst. She is not seen that often but she always brings a smile to everyone\'s lips and a warm feeling. She was told her contract would not be renewed but she wasn\'t even told personally. Shame on ABC!
