I live in the Elmwood neighborhood and experience the terrible traffic, and many near accidents daily.

I am very interested in a protected crossing for the bike/pedestrian crossing. This area is very dangerous. Perhaps adding a push-button light and bright yellow crossing lines?

This is a very dangerous intersection. There must be a solution to make this safer for drivers, walkers and bikers.

The Wooddale Bridge has been a poor design from the beginning. I am not sure if the parties that designed the bridge took into account all the traffic (cars, bicyles, pedestrians) that crosses the intersection going north and south every day. Before any funds are spent, a true look at the traffic flow and safety needs to be done. The bridge is not much longer than a football field and has multiple intersections with no visibility to look right or left for traffic before exiting Highway 7 to get onto Wooddale Avenue. I do not see additional traffic lights as a benefit to the safety and flow of traffic. I think the proposal would not be a good use of money.

This should be done before there are serious injuries or fatalities.

It's a zoo on 36th and Woodale

Living on Brunswick, turning left onto Wooddale from Hwy 7 ramp has been not only extremely difficult but dangerous, and I stopped using ramp even before 7 was closed. Lights are seriously needed on the bridge!

Lights will only back up traffic more. I read that more will be done to the intersection when light rail comes through. In the meantime a "no right turn on red" up on 36th would do wonders. Longer lights for traffic turning onto Wooddale from 36th going west would also help. With Highway 7 closed from Wooddale to Highway 100, no left turns on Wooddale, and the Minnetonka bridge now open, I see less traffic already. If drivers would heed the left turn lane closures, there would be no problem. I have seen many illegal turns because they ignore the signs
