Even just one street light would be so helpful in checking on your dogs behaviour at the park, as it is now dark so early you really need the light to be a responsible dog owner.

Sometimes the only time to access the park is at dusk or after dark due to work commitments, especially in winter when daylight hours are limited.
It is unsafe without lights at night.
Lights would enable us to access the park with our dogs at all times throughout the year.

lights are much needed to make use of this great park, it's a great place for community members to come together, socialise and exercise ourselves and our pets. However it is too dark by the time we all get home from work which makes it difficult and sometimes a safety issue.

Lights in the dog park are a necessity for us. My wife and I both work until past dark, so we aren't able to bring our dog down until the weekend in the cooler months. We would love to be able to use this facility more.

Safety is of primary concern so that dogs and their owners can comply with council regulations and utilize the off leash area after work.

Currently we have parents in the playground, fitness groups and many people using the park in the early evening having to use torches. Lights would not only be a convenience but also good for public safety as many people walk home from the bus stop through the park.

I work a job that sometimes gives me the luxuries of an early finish but on the days that it doesn't happen my afternoon is taken up by the drive home. I have one energetic puppy so when he doesn't get his time in the dog park it can be a real struggle to get him to settle at night. I acknowledge that I could take him for a walk but my mornings are too early already to allow for travel time to work and I am not entirely comfortable with walking the streets around my house as there is little to no lighting.
Lights would be much appreciated because it would mean the dogs could get in more exercise and interaction time even in the winter months.

We are now limited in time to take our dog to the park due to lack of lighting for winter months. Soon we will be unable to have our dogs out as the light will be gone at 5. Lights would mean our dogs get their much needed exercise and socialisation!

Yes we most defiantly need lights at the dog park. ..sun goes down at 5.30 in the cooler months and alot of us don't get home from work until after that. .this would mean happier dogs and happy owners. .cheers

We love using this park however as the days are getting shorter we are finding it difficult to get to the park before dark and it would be benifical to have lighting to allow us to stay longer and attend later.

By the time I get home from working at South Brisbane, I struggle to make it to the dog park in time before it's dark. The alternative option is to walk or run my dog in the dimly lit streets. I would feel much safer going to the dog park in a publicly known space that provides my dog with adeqaute exercise. It would be greatly appreciated if some form of lighting could be installed here for such a well used dog park. Thank you, Simone.
