There sound be a way to better light the park without disturbing the surrounding homes. Driving by the park at night is tough to see even people walking because it is so dark.

Hi Mario, there are a variety of reasons why we can't put a solar panel directly on the pole, however the Town already has two small solar arrays to help offset the cost of our electrical usage (behind Town Hall, and at the Highway Garage). There are also plans underway to build a solar farm in the northern parts of Clay to offset a significant portion of our annual electrical consumption.
