Unwise to remove the only light outside a busy all-hours shop

I think it absurd to take the street light away from outside the Derby Stores. Can one light make that much difference regarding cost but it makes a huge difference to peoples safety.

This short street is very active with pedestrians, bicycles and cars. It needs to be well lit.

Removing the light from outside one of the busiest Stores in the area seems perverse. Please try and explain this decision, if you can.

I well not use Derby Stores in the dark

I see no sense in this at all, especially as we head into winter, when roads and curbs are slippery, in a neighbourhood with many elderly and infirm residents
